Global warming is causing more severe droughts every year. Water shortages, soil depletion, high temperatures are the direct consequences of this and force us to rethink our way of living. This project responds to this problem thanks to a frugal construction system, with biosourced materials and low-tech bioclimatic principles.
To avoid too large a footprint, the project uses three foundation piles. These piles develop from top to bottom of the building and are used to accommodate different bioclimatic systems: – ducts with fluids linked to a wastewater recycling system – a well allowing ventilation and cooling of the interior thanks to the freshness of the garden plants – a fireplace connected to the wood stove to warm the upper spaces.
