Designing a habitat for tomorrow requires considering issues related to global warming and accessibility to housing for all. MicRotunda is a project that guarantees total energy autonomy with various innovative systems. Constructive frugality with the use of bio-based materials (wood – straw) allows savings in implementation while respecting the environment.

The circular plan is divided into 2 parts. A night area including sleeping, showers and w.c. A day area including the living room which can fully open onto the outdoor terrace. The 2 living areas are separated by 2 pieces of furniture integrating the technical ducts connected to the kitchen and to the wet rooms.

The link between the two living areas is made through the central space containing the wood-burning fireplace. This is the focal point of the house. The two large circular arc sliding doors allow spatial modularity that evolves throughout the day.
